Subaru EJ25 owners - Refer to the Subaru engine oil weight & capacity chart below for your engine's oil capacity.
We recommend this oil to be used only for Subaru's with the turbocharged EJ25 engine running pump gas. There is nothing wrong with using a 5w-40 engine oil even though Subaru's chart shows 5w-30. If running e85 or race gas, we recommend using Motul 10w40 6100 Synergie+ or Motul 300V. If you have an extended capacity oil pan like the Killer B or IAG, please order accordingly. The IAG Performance & Killer B aftermarket oil pans both add 1.4 extra quarts of oil for the EJ25.
*Note - This is not to be used in the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX FA20DIT engine. We recommend using only Motul X-Clean EFE for all FA20DIT applications.
