So why would you want to E-tune your Subaru?
When it comes to Subaru's and performance mods, installing anything more than a catback exhaust requires a tune to run safely. This is a custom street engine calibration that's flashed to your Subaru using your own COBB Accessport, revisions are included. This tune is a single fuel map so you need to pick one fuel that you run all the time - 91, 93, 94, E85, or race gas. After purchasing, we will help guide you through the process and forward you over to Clark. You will then need to provide your AP Serial Number, mod list, chosen fuel, and the year / model / and transmission you own to get the process started. Make sure you have a working email attached to your order as we will use your email address to contact you. By making this purchase, you are buying a non-tangible item, a digital file.
The Etune Single Fuel Process - What's required and what to expect
This tuning process requires some of your time to help complete and you must already own or aquire a COBB Accessport to install the tune on your Subaru.
Your car will need to be a good working condition with no mechanical issues. You will need to have access to a working computer with internet access to plug your Accessport into. You will need to download/upload your tune/data-logs using Accessport manager. Accessport Manager is free to download from COBB's website. You will need to drive your car and use just your COBB Accessport to data-log, no laptop or internet access required for this part. You will then take your Accessport out of the car, plug it into your computer back at the crib, and email those logs to Clark to receive map revisions and repeat log process if needed. It's possible you'll have to do this a couple times to make sure your car is dialed in 100%.
